Malik Seed Web Portal
A public corporate web portal presenting Malik Seed's brands, products, and news from a headless CMS.

Role & Personal Contribution
Frontend Developer — Scaffolded the Next.js project and built the homepage, reusable UI components, and responsive layouts (208 of 304 commits), working with one other developer who built most of the API integration and career flow.
The Operational Problem
The company needed a fast, SEO-friendly public website whose content is managed by non-developers in a CMS.
The Engineered Solution
A server-rendered Next.js site that pulls content from a REST CMS, generates dynamic SEO metadata, sitemap, and robots files, and presents brand and product content in a responsive, animated interface.
Engineering Architecture & Decisions
Next.js 16 App Router with React 19 and TypeScript. Routes live in app/, reusable UI in components/, and CMS access is centralized in typed modules under lib/api/.
No user accounts. Content is public, and a header-protected endpoint lets the CMS trigger on-demand cache revalidation.
No local database. Content comes from an external REST CMS.
Presenting a large amount of CMS-managed content (brands, products, news, timeline) in a consistent, responsive, performant interface.
Decision: Centralized CMS access in typed API modules and a shared component library, so pages stay thin and content changes need no code changes.
Delivered: A live production website for the company, built over about three months by a two-developer team.
